Business and the Fight Against Human Trafficking

  • Microsoft Corporation Building 33, 16070 Northeast 36th Way (Lassen room) Redmond, WA, 98052 United States (map)

Join Microsoft, the Global Business Coalition Against Human Trafficking (GBCAT) and Tech Against Trafficking (TAT) for a conversation about two business-led initiatives tackling human trafficking: GBCAT and TAT .

This lunch-time event will bring together interested stakeholders from companies, NGOs, foundations, academia and law enforcement based in Washington State. The event will kick-off with an engaging presentation by Microsoft, a founding member of both groups, on some of its efforts to address human trafficking through the use of innovative technology. The event will also include a presentation on the Interactive Map for Business of Anti-Trafficking Organizations, a new publicly available resource developed by GBCAT and its partners. This resource is the first of its kind to identify anti-human trafficking organizations and initiatives that are partnering with businesses to combat human trafficking around the world.

A light lunch will be provided.
