As a foster parent and then foster adopt parent of a familial trafficking survivor (both sex and labor), and Co-chair of the Cowlitz county CSEC task force, the guest speaker will discuss current research on specialized foster homes for trafficking survivors, some of the challenges and issues faced (including race, gender, behavior, and discipline), and some recommendations for foster/adoptive families.
